Mechanical engineering has come a very long way since many inventions began. We need to look at improving mechanical engineering to discover new improvements that will provide security and safety, as well as improve the overall engineering designs of devices and how we use these tools and mechanics in our daily lives. Mechanical engineering is vital for how to get around, go to school, take a trip, ride a motorcycle, and cut our lawn; just about everything we do in our daily lives interfaces with mechanical engineering, yet we disregard how we can improve upon these concepts to provide more safety and security in our daily lives. We have set workplace safety regarding mechanical engineering due to consequences or hazards that may occur from interfacing with mechanical engineering. When you get into an accident with your car, it's due to human error and mechanical engineering. So mechanical engineering is with us as human beings with the ability to build smarter technology to proactively protect us when mechanical engineering fails to react to protect human life.
The evolution of mechanical engineering needs to converge computer technology and security within the mechanics, metals, and alloys that we use that are on this planet, but there are certain limitations on how we use mechanical engineering. Planets in our solar systems that orbit the Earth have metals, alloys, and other compounds that have yet to be discovered and/or used to create a cleaning and efficient way of designing and using mechanical devices on our planet Earth. Harvesting these metals and alloys will need further understanding and study to determine how we can safely apply this to our automobiles and the aerodynamics of our airplanes. Why does my coffee maker just stop working without giving signs of what devices are broken or need to be fixed? We need smarter technology interfacing with mechanical engineering. We have attempted this with color codes in message indicators, but this will not suffice if it only touches the bare surface with mechanical engineering components. Cars, Boats, or just about anything that involves mechanical engineering needs what I call CMIA (Computer Mechanics Intelligent Alerting). Intelligence alerting convergences computer technology in conjunction with all moving parts and mechanics, security also plays an important role, Integrating Human Fail Safe within the devices, such as using an Apple Watch to let the mechanics know-how, what to do when, and why based on Apple Watch that can be used as an interface from human to mechanical engineering. In essence, think of your Apple Watch as a means of protection with security controls built-in to protect you when using mechanical engineering devices. These are just some simple examples; however, we can explore these areas on the convergence of technologies.

Mechanical engineering strategies and new frameworks need to be started to help the industry improve and allow for a wider circumference covering all areas that require development. In addition, retrofit older and outdated mechanical engineering devices with new technology to allow these older concepts and/or mechanics to be used efficiently. So in other words, people will not have to throw away their investments and retrofit them to adapt to the innovative technology.
Mechanical engineering needs to be looked at in a dimensional evolving manner that will allow for gears, filtering, and other mechanisms that require monitoring for failures to provide built-in intelligence to allow better understanding when hazardous situations occur.
